UPDATED 8/27/20

The providers at PHCA strongly encourage our patients to get their flu vaccine this fall. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for social distancing, we will not be holding walk-in flu clinics. Appointments for flu vaccine will be required. Please call the office to schedule a flu clinic appointment. You can also schedule your flu clinic appointments through our online portal, MyChart. If you do not have an active MyChart account, please call our office at 978-535-1110, option 8 for assistance in creating your account. We recommend that every family at PHCA have an active MyChart account.

We continue to work hard to have a safe environment for you when you come in for your visit.

We have designated our Salem, Reading and Melrose offices as Well Child offices, for patients to keep up with their Well Child Visits, and for acute care of patients who do not have fever or respiratory symptoms.

We have divided our Peabody office to provide both Well Care and Acute Sick Care in distinct, separate areas of the office with separate entrances.  Please use the main entrance for Acute Care, and our side entrance (around the left side of the building as you face it) for Well Care visits.

Our Lynn office will be seeing Well Care patients in the morning, and Acute Sick Care patients from the mid-afternoon on.

We encourage you to continue to be seen for your well visits, especially for infants in need of their routine immunizations and developmental check-ups.  Appointments for acute visits will be screened by our staff and scheduled in the appropriate location.  All visitors to each office location will be screened prior to entering the office. We request that whenever possible, only 1 parent or guardian accompany the scheduled patient, and that no siblings be brought to the office.

We are utilizing online Virtual Visits for care for families who cannot come to the office or prefer to be evaluated remotely when this is clinically appropriate.  As noted above, an active MyChart Patient Portal account is required for an online virtual visit.  To help facilitate HIPAA compliant communications between PHCA and our patients, we strongly recommend that every family at PHCA have an active MyChart account. For assistance in activating a MyChart Account please call our office at 978-535-1110, option 8.

Virtual Visit Information

Welcome to PHCA!

The physicians and nurse practitioners of Pediatric Health Care Associates (PHCA) have provided primary medical care to children and adolescents on the North Shore of Boston for over 40 years. We look forward to helping you keep your children healthy, safe, and happy. Our practice is able to offer the widest range of clinical services and appointment availability of any pediatric practice in the region without sacrificing the quality, family-centered care you and your child will receive at each of our offices.

My Chart - PHCA's Patient Portal

We encourage every patient and family at PHCA to open and keep active a MyChart Patient Portal account. MyChart offers you online access to your medical information as well as a direct line of communication with PHCA staff and providers. With MyChart, you get the convenience of online appointment scheduling and online bill pay. You can request medication refills, as well as print out health forms and immunization records on your own, without having to contact or come into the office.  Before your well visit, complete any forms such as required developmental and behavioral screens, which saves time, and allows you more time with your provider to get your questions answered. Review lab results directly and receive follow up recommendations from your provider based on those results.

If you’re not yet active on MyChart, speak with any PHCA staff member during your next visit, and we can get you registered! MyChart can be accessed through any web browser, as well as via the MyChart App on iPhone and Android devices (**choose PPOC-Pediatric Physicians of Childrens when doing first time set up of the mobile app**).
