PAHC is among the top pediatric primary care practices in the state recognized for best-in-class patient experience, based on results of annual statewide survey conducted by Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP)

Westfield, MA – November 27, 2018 – Pediatric Associates of Hampden County, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has received an award from Massachusetts Health Quality Partners (MHQP) for being one of the top practices in Massachusetts for patient experience in primary care.

The “MHQP Patient Experience Awards” is a new awards program introduced this year by MHQP, a non-profit measurement and reporting organization that brings together providers, health plans, and patients to improve the quality of patient care experiences in Massachusetts. MHQP conducts the only statewide survey of patient experience in primary care in Massachusetts, with feedback from over 65,000 commercially-insured patients across the state.

Awards were given to the practices that ranked highest in each of eleven performance categories, as well as an overall performance category determined by the practices with the most best-in-class results across multiple categories.

Pediatric Associates of Hampden County received recognition for Distinction in Assessment of Child Development.

“The staff and providers of Pediatric Associates of Hampden County have worked hard over the years to build our practice into a medical home,” said Robert Peskin, MD, managing partner of Pediatric Associates of Hampden County. “We are thrilled to be recognized by our patients and be a recipient of a MHQP Patient Experience Award for being one of the top pediatric practices in the state for the assessment of child development. We continuously work to improve our quality and the experience for our patients and their families.”

“Primary care is the heart of healthcare in Massachusetts,” said Barbra Rabson, MHQP’s President and CEO. “The practices recognized with these awards have distinguished themselves where it matters most – in the experiences of their own patients. We are thrilled to congratulate each of them for their commitment to excellence and best-in-class patient experiences.”
