Manuscript collections:
Access to manuscript collections varies according to the donor's wishes.
Patient and Official Medical Records:
The Archives does not handle patient or physician requests for medical records; contact Medical Records for assistance with these materials.
Restricted Material:
All records containing patient or student information are restricted. This includes the series of Patient Logbooks and the student records of the former School of Nursing.
Researchers may petition the hospital archivist for access to restricted archival material. All such requests will be reviewed by the person in charge of the department or unit from which the restricted records were created. The hospital may refuse to grant access to any particular material if in its judgment it is reasonable or appropriate to do so. Please contact the Hospital Archivist for furher information.
