Roddy brings with him more than 20 years of public affairs, communications and marketing experience in leadership roles across healthcare, education, government and business.

He has a proven track record of translating strategy into understandable and actionable internal and external messaging and building brand and marketing strategies, most recently as VP of Marketing and Communications at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. As a key leader at the $1.8 billion health system serving northern New England, Roddy successfully positioned the enterprise in the areas of marketing, media relations, social media, internal communications, visual design, digital and web services. He and his teams produced award winning advertising campaigns, visually stunning print and digital publications, and cohesive external and internal web platforms for health system communications.

For nearly a decade prior, Roddy was Senior Vice President at TMG Strategies, the crisis, reputation and issues management arm of Publicis / MSLGroup in Washington, DC. He led teams representing clients around the globe, including the groundwork for General Motors’ launch of the Chevrolet Volt, multinational antitrust issues for Symantec and RealNetworks, medical research at Columbia University, and a new global messaging platform for United Technologies. He also served as press secretary for NASA, where he contributed to the development and implementation of NASA’s global media strategy and internal communications, and as press secretary and professional staff on Capitol Hill where he led local and national public relations efforts.

Roddy brings his passion for science and technology to all aspects of his work in order to create effective and engaging communications and marketing campaigns. He has served on the Vizient (formerly UHC) Chief Marketing Officers Council, the Board of Trustees for Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital, and as a founder and organizing committee member of Team Tennis to Smash Cancer to benefit the Norris Cotton Cancer Center.
