Project Protection

Project Protection at Martha Eliot Health Center provides free, confidential, and culturally competent HIV and STI (sexually transmitted infections) testing and counseling services.  Project Protection aims to expand quality services and support for HIV-infected, affected, and at-risk community members. All testing and counseling services are free, confidential, and do not require clients to bring identification documents.  Clients do not need to be patients at Martha Eliot Health Center.   Project Protection serves a diverse community of all ages.  Our staff speaks English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole.  An interpreter is also available for other languages.

Eligibility:

  • Any person 13 years and above

Goals/Services:

  • Rapid HIV test (results are ready in 20 minutes)
  • Blood draw HIV test
  • Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and Hepatitis C testing
  • Pre- and Post-test Counseling
  • Risk Reduction Counseling
