Boston HIV Adolescent Provider and Peer Education Network for Services (HAPPENS)

Boston HAPPENS provides services to youth, 13 and older, who are HIV positive or at risk for the disease and other STIs. HAPPENS also offers HIV counseling and testing and Hepatitis C testing for teens and young adults as well as STI (Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia) testing. All testing will be billed through your insurance.

For youth with recent known exposures to HIV, or for victims of sexual assault, we offer Post Exposure Prophylaxis (PEP) treatment and follow-up services, which can greatly reduce the chance of HIV infection. For those who are HIV negative but at high risk, our interdisciplinary team offers education and clinical consultation for Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP), which helps prevent HIV infection.

Bilingual services (English/Spanish; Creole by appointment) are available with bilingual providers, and interpreters for other languages are also available.

Please call for hours at 617-355-2735.
