Important updates from Boston Children's about COVID-19

Boston Children’s Hospital is working closely with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health by following their protocol. Since mid-January, our leadership team has been meeting multiple times a week to prepare for this scenario and to ensure that all protocols are followed. We are working around the clock to ensure the safety of our patients and the entire community during this unprecedented time.

If you have questions about COVID-19 and your upcoming appointment, please call your specialty clinic. If you are a Boston Children's patient or family member and you have questions general questions about COVID-19 please call our COVID-19 hotline at 855-281-5730 or 617-355-4200.

RecallThere is a recall of certain Metformin Extended Release 500mg and 750mg Tablets because some may contain an impurity called Nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) in amounts above the acceptable FDA level. Please ask your pharmacist about this recall if you use this product.
